3. Add the cut pieces of sprew, celery, onion, pepper, salt, and the sprig of parsley to the stewpan. These ingredients will enhance the flavor of the dish.
4. Bring the stewpan to a gentle simmer over low heat. Do not let it boil vigorously as this can toughen the meat. Let it simmer for approximately 2 hours or until the lamb and sprew are tender.
