8. Stir the batter topping mixture until all the ingredients are well combined. The batter will be thick and creamy.

9. Spoon 1/2 of the batter topping mixture onto the top of each pie, spreading it evenly to cover the filling.

10. Place the pies in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until the pastry crust is golden brown and the batter topping is set.

11. Once baked, remove the pies from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
