- 1 oz. Sago

2. Wash the celery thoroughly to remove any dirt or impurities. Cut the celery into pieces that are approximately one inch long.
3. In a large soup pot, bring the stock to a boil. Add the celery pieces and simmer for about 30 minutes. The celery should become tender.
4. Sprinkle in 1 oz of sago into the soup and stir continuously until it becomes transparent. This typically takes about 10 minutes.
5. Pour in the pint of milk and bring the soup to a boil. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching.
6. Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference and dietary needs.
7. Once the soup reaches the desired consistency and flavor, remove it from the heat. Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
8. Serve the creamy celery soup hot and enjoy its comforting and nutritious flavors.
