Tea Biscuit Recipe

One pint of flour (sifted three times,) one teaspoon cream of tartar,

one half teaspoon of soda, two teaspoons of sugar, pinch of salt, one

dessert spoon of lard or butter, moisten with milk, and yolk of beaten

egg.
